Cereal
Cereals are the largest crop segment for UK and European farmers, where consistent yield is critical for profitability.
Yield is largely constrained by available sunlight and water. Glaia improves how efficiently crops use sunlight, increasing the energy available to build yield. This supports key yield components, including tiller number, grains per ear, and carbohydrate reserves in the stem.
Glaia is running a UK grower testing programme in 2026 to demonstrate commercial yield benefits, with a planned UK launch in 2027. Development is also underway across other European markets.

Potato
Potatoes are a key crop in the UK and European farming systems.
Trials with research organisations have shown yield increases of up to 12%, with a higher proportion of tubers in larger grade sizes.
During 2026, Glaia is refining application timing and recommendations to maximise these effects, with first UK commercial sales planned for 2027, followed by expansion into Europe.

Sugar Beet
Europe produces around 50% of the world’s beet sugar, making it a strategically important crop.
Sugar yield is directly linked to the amount of light the crop captures and converts. Glaia increases the efficiency of this process, creating the potential for additional yield gains beyond existing genetics and crop management.
Ongoing trials are focused on validating performance under commercial conditions.

Lettuce & Leafy Vegetables
In leafy crops, profitability is driven not just by yield but also by quality and speed of harvest.
Improving how efficiently crops use light can reduce time to harvest while maintaining or improving quality.
Glaia is running trials with crop research organisations in 2026 to confirm performance and optimise recommendations.
